i'm embarrasssed to state that i slammed my side garage door the other day in a strop and a box of ceramic tiles fell off a shelf on the wall and left a scratch and dent on my roof, bonnet, wing and front bumper . it would cost more than my excess to get fixed/resprayed, can i make a legimate claim. or is it deemed 'my own fault' so tough luck. i've never made a car insurance claim before and i pay for protected no claims.
