Set my policy up with them for monthly payments

Couldnt tell me when my first payment would come out.

As a result i didnt have enough money in there. Rang up on the day to pay the amount owed. Told they couldnt take it and now i would lose my £400 deposit if i didnt pay the remaining FULL amount.

So payed the 1400 quid on a card.

Turned 25 so i thought id cancel as i wasnt happy with service or the way they dont seem to have a clue when you ring them.


Now i have to wait untill the middle of september for a refund of the 700 quid they now owe me

Sent my Cert back as asked on the day i canceled.

So all in all my car will now be off the road for 8 weeks.

I would never use them again ever.

I've heard other stories on this forum too about them.....they dont sound proffesional at all.

Or Tony Fehily. I found Tony quite helpful but they lost several bits of paperwork including a mate of mines details who smashed his car up to find they had voided his insurance claiming documents were not sent back

I would use A Plan now and have for a few years and found the service superb

I was a bit shocked to find today, that new quotes can only be taken via their web form, and they (at some point), mail you back the price....

I used to be with them, and they lost out on me coming back, because I need a quote the same day I ask for it

A-plan have come in at a remarkable price, with excellent and friendly customer service, so I am net happy regardless
