Default 24 YEAR OLD 3 GRAND TURBO 2000????

a mate of mine is 24, he is quite possibly buying my inpreza turbo 2000 of me as it is the cheapest turbo'd impreza for insurance. it will be his first car an has not yet passed his test, he got a quote on it for after he has passed his test, and it is around the 3 grand mark, does this sound about right?

cheers

What a sensible first car. Suggest he does pass plus and IAM to bring the cost down a bit.

Well, im 24 now, when i got my insurance I was 23 with 4 years no claims. Mine is an 2002 WRX Bugeye valued at 8200. It cost me 1200 fully comp with cheap online car insurance and home insurance quotes - elephant.co.uk.

I got my passplus when I passed and they offered me a 52% reduction! At the time I had a group 14 rover. Took my insurance from around 3k to around 1400!

Definately needs passplus, cant stress that enough. Then IAM would be good also.

Try Cheap UK Car insurance and home insurance quotes comparison from Confused.com., they have always been the cheapest for me.. with one insurer or another. Not the cheapest for everyone but its a good start to get some quotes.

Hope that helps old pal!

Mike
