Unfortunately mate its your age, thats not really a bad quote for an import with your age etc.

Well iv been choping and changing bits on my policy...

I can get it down to £1650 - £1700 i gotta keep it under 6k so to bennifit tho
Also the older it is the better
1995 + 1996 Value of £5995 £1700
1994 Value of £5995 £1650
Any lower the 1994 is still the same price

Now even with a £2995 car the insurance is still the same, so i dont have to worry about getting a really cheap car.

This is with my dad as a named driver too, with out him it goes up £650!!

So im gonna set my sights on a 1994-1996 worth upto 6K

i was paying £1800 when i first got my 276bhp import when i was 25

its now about half that, reason was i had no history in driving a powerfull car even though i had no claims discount, one i "proved" to them i could handle the car they dropped the policy year on year, i think its about £1000 now (i`m 29)
