Default How to insure PPP the right way

Hi everyone,
this is a quick tip that some of you might be aware but not many from what I read in the forum. Just got my first impreza. I wanted one with PPP but nearly didn't get one as the insurance quote where really high. 33 year old, 7 year ncb ...bu I have a French driving license so some insurer will not touch me. Untill I found the right way:

When you enter your reg number, you get the car as WRX/STI which is incorect as PPP means modified. So you add the mods to the quote hic! the price tripple not good.

Instead manually select the car and behold most insurer now have an impreza 261bhp/301/ppp/prodrive... or any other name related to the modified car. End result the quote goes up by a tiny amount!

In my case an insurer was quoting £1800 as a modified wrx but the quote as wrx (261) turned out to be £700! Do not rely on employee on the phone to do that trick for you, most wouldn't know what PPP means.
