Hi,
I was thinking of buying a 5 door impreza, legacy gtb or legnum vr-4 and started to get some insurance quotes and boy was I in for a shock.

I'm 27 with 8 NCD and the car would be parked on a private driveway
for a uk 99 impreza it was £600
for a jap 99 WRX it was £860
for the GT-B it was £1350
and for the VR-4 £1400

All these are amazing quotes if I were 19 and just come off a 2 year ban for killing someone.
At the moment I drive a BMW 535i V8 and pay nice insurance £450 plus taxes and stuff.

Please help.
