Default old git, low value 03 sti ... still expensive ??

03sti+ppp+spring kit + tints.
43yr old in cambs 10yrs NCD
£15k this year
£5k car value (it's done 120k miles)

ballpark quotes are £800

I was expecting the quotes to drop significantly this year (600 mark). I paid £850 last year with 30k miles inc 12k business miles.

-- Waiting for A-line to phone back, hopefully that will be better.

Have to say at nearly 29 I'm having trouble getting what I would call a fair price for insurance, hell I've been given prices of £600-700 for a Sport!

Have you tried greenlight?

Default cheap insurance..

Before i got my 99 UK Turbo Wagon , i managed to get a quote from Sainsbury bank for £207, fully comp. Using my current cars details before i bought it..
38 year old and wife 34 , 6 years NC.

When i actually got the car , for some strange reason all the quotes i had got through Insurance Money Market had changed,Sainsbury was up to 400+
How cheesed off am i ?????????
Phoned them and asked for explanation.....They couldn't give any....

My current company changed from the sport to turbo without charge for the last 3 months of policy, they can't give me a renewal price for another week appparently..
Cheapest quote i can get at the mo is £290 from E'car...
Still waiting on re-newal coming throu from current ins with More Than.....
Who wont quote me on-line with all my current partics...

How strange that they can change so quickly
