I am going to be working in the French Alps this winter and of course want to take the WRX. Any suggestions for companies that will insure a UK car abroad for more than 90 days?

just done 1 of these, problem is premium is crazy and also the excess

i insured a 35 male from Cumbria on an EVO 6 for unlimited foreign cover (comp coverwhilst abroad) as he will be based in Italy for 2+ years

2000.00 with 3000.00 x/s

your other option is to insure with N-Union, if you come back to England and then go back to France on return ferry (keep tickets) you get another 90 days from when 2nd entrance to France took place

If your car and yourself are acceptable to Liverpool Victoria their standard cover includes 180 days in EU countries at no extra.They are on 0800 514 514 or their site quotes on line.

Hi - overlooked that eCar Insurance - Welcome to eCar also offer almost unlimited EU cover provided you still have main residence in UK so they must be worth trying.
