Thanks for your reply, I am absolutely gobsmacked by the deal i got. I have leased a Lexus is220d se for a employee at work and did not think about insuring it first she is 23 with 1.5 years licence with 2 claims ( i know call me stupid). The car has been on a ship for 8 weeks, got here and when i came to trying to insure it either in her name or mine (with her as a named driver), it was sooo expensive (3K). Was told about Chubb, got in touch with a broker and was told i must put another car on the policy (not being bigheaded but we have 3 other cars), put my BMW on the policy (pay £980 a year for that). Quoted £1880 for both cars, any driver, me and my husband are now insured to drive any car fully comp. Business use, no quibble pay out, they dont even depreciate the car, the price they insure it for is the price they pay out. And to top it off any user with our permission is covered to use the car fully comp!!!! Surely this cant be right???

PRAISE CHUBB INSURANCE LETS HOPE THIS IS THE WAY FORWARD

They do offer outstanding cover. However, from what i remember they only cover cars which were worth £30k+ from new, are are unlikely to cover Impreza's. They are much more after the Porsche/Ferrari market.

I have managed to get both a 06 Beemer and 56 Lexus insured for less than £1850, fully comp for any driver, cant believe just how cheap it is and the lack of limitations and smallprint on the policy docs.........totally gobsmacked!!!
