Angry Insurance Woes

Lo ppl

I'm looking at buying an MY55 WRX with PPP but the insurance quotes are getting a bit frustrating
I'm 46 with ten years ncb, have a driveway to park the car on and live in an area ( Bury - Lancashire ) that doesn't appear to have any major crime wave happening atm but I can't seem to get any quotes below £1100. I known the car is high profile and group 19/20 it just seems a bit steep for my age/ncb etc.
I thought I'd manage to find a reasonable price today, £740 with Admiral, but not having that kind of lump sum lying around I rang up and enquired about paying monthly, they then proceeded to add £400 to the quote stating the one hit price was discounted and you lost this when paying in instalments.

The Audi A3 2.0T FSI Quattro ( £550 ) or the 3.2 Quattro sport ( £750 ) is looking a betta prospect atm, not as powerful but defo easier to insure.

Mark.

Priviliege Insurance are very cheap if you have 4+ years NCB (I think) and low points (cost me £380 for my 02 WRX and I'm much younger!)

Not sure how they would react to PPP though, but worth a look.

Another vote for Keith Michaels (I deal with Fraser there).

My insurance is still 1500 quid, but previous quotes have been in the 3k mark, so KM have halved it

They just wouldn't do it - they said I had to talk to Fraser because it was him that dealt with the insurance on my last car (I thought it was someone else personally, but I couldn't really insist).

I have a UK STI 2002 (no mods) Tracker & Factory Alarm with 6 years NCD (Protected), Legal protection, live in Leeds and not the best postcode aged 41 using QUOTELINE DIRECT £695 with an excess of £300. I looked all over and nobody could come close to these.
