The initial quotation provided would have been despatched swiftly via e-mail, you PM'd me (as you couldnt call during the day) to see as to whether we could allow you a further concession/reduce the initial rate quoted as we were only £30 less than Elephant.
Elephant's cover is not comparable to that offered by our own underwriter, unlike trunkie we also dont charge £1/min when calling, plus we are UK based with no overseas call centres/staff.
We also include relevant benefits such as like-for-like replacement of modified parts, agreed value is an option, as is Track day cover. In addition, all policies include a courtesy car for whilst in for repair & most offer a 14 day guaranteed hire vehicle if your vehicle should be a total loss (ie. stolen/written off).
We do not have 'hidden' excesses or anything nasty like that lurking in the smallprint, what you see is what you get.
As you know, we have exchanged PM's requesting further information that may influence the rate and your PM was received by me yesterday, then passed to our quotation staff to refer to the respective underwriters.
We had a new PC network installed yesterday (everyone has nice shiny new pc's), which had resulted in the upgrading of a number of programs, transfer of data & some downtime - thus the slight delay in responding.
There is however some good news on the quotation front and i've requested the quote team - email you their latest.
Seriously though, if we're thereabouts or less than trunkie you will find we do represent good value & heightened cover compared.
Kind regards
Tony
