A huge thanks to Gary Moulson at Keith Michael (0208 642 7868). Just renewed the P1 at 30 odd % lower than next nearest quotes!!!

I rang Gary twice a couple of weeks ago and was promised a call back on both occasions..... which never happened
Eventually rang Claire at A-Plan who were more than helpful and reduced my renewal by about 30% - Thanks

Same situation mate, i phoned up Keith Michael ( presume it was Gary i spoke to ) on Monday morning for a quote and was told "cant help you now mate, phone back" !!!!

How about NO, if you cant be bothered to deal with me when i phone then you will lose my business.

Eventually spoke to Claire at A-Plan who sorted me out with a cracking quote, was very nice and professional, only too happy to help there-and-then and who have since received my business.

The problem was trying to get a quote from Keith Michaels.... I did try and it was Gary that I spoke to, who was obviously too busy to be bothered calling me back. TBH I was more than impressed with the service from A-Plan and was happy to give them my business. If I ever need to make a claim in the future I would not be happy having to chase Keith Michaels for any help if the level of customer service I received was anything to go by.

Obviously this is just my two penneth, and judging by a lot of the comments I have read on Scoobynet I'm sure Gary and Keith Michaels do offer a great service, and it seems unfortunate that I couldn't give them my business.... Maybe next year eh?

Just a bad time to call TBH mate, am covering 3 peoples jobs (yet again), aswell as being in and out of meetings.

All should be back to normal very soon, so please bear with me

To chose between Aplan & Keith Michaels is tought. Been getting quote's from both, and have both quoted the same (£750). I'm with Aplan at the moment, so don't know whether to change or not???

On a personal note though. Thanks to Gary. Called me back the same day & got me a good quote ............ some £300 less than my initial renewal price.

Got till the 8th to decide which to go for.

Unfortunatly i had same problem with Keith Micheals, did not call me back,
would not even give me a quote compared to my best one.
Overall did not really seem intersted, but Clare at A plan gave me an offer
i could not refuse , thanks a lot for such good customer service.

If your username is you real name then the quote you had wasn't from me, therefore i am not suprised if wasn't as good as elsewhere.

Yes your right it was not you i got a quote from, but i did ask for
you on the 2 or 3 times that i called but just could not get through
to you, also my insurance had just run out so i needed the car insured
pretty promt. I called you because ive read so many good reports about you
, im just sorry i could not speak to you personally

Gary agian a star £575 bargin price lets hope next year with the 6 points off will be cheaper under 500 would be a big plus....

Anyone actually made any Claims from either of these company's?

Just wondering what they are like when it comes to paying out?? I'm not saying there would be any problems but the cheapest policy isn't always the best, if you know what i mean?

I did actually call Gary some months ago when looking at getting a Scoob (deal fell through so didn't need insurance after all), he had to check something out and said he will call me back shortly. 10 mins later and Gary called me back so can't fault his service there!

I think it depends who you speak to. I also tried them for insurance on my Civic Type R, but the person I spoke to that time was a bit rude to be honest, asked what my best price so far was, i told him and he said "I suggest you take it" and hung up!!! Can understand him not wanting to waste time doing a quote when he knows that he can't beat it but even so.

I have pointed out to my sales manager some of the problems which have been bought up here, the main one being a guy i spoke to today who said he'd left his number 3 times.....neither of his messages had been passed to me.

I have been assured this is being addressed, and we have taken on a new member of staff to help with the workload.

I do try my hardest, but if you leave a message and i don't get back to you then send me a pm and i will reply

(I was supposed to have a half day today to look at an Impreza for my brother, but was snowed under and couldn't leave the office....so he wasn't happy either. Still got the car though, so watch out for the first 'thanks to Gary' thread which HAS been posted by a member of my family!!!)
