Can anyone help?
Right i kind to need a definate answer within the near future please.
I'm currently looking to purchase a Sti Type R, however there is a problem. I'm 22 and can't get insurance. I'd be looking to pay the insurance out-right (within 2k)
Can anyone help.

No guarantees but the Insurance Factory might be able to quote you.I take it you have tried Greenlight A Plan and Keith Michaels.

Id try for a uk turbo rather than a type R, you should get insured on a grp 17 car without too many problems, a grp 20 car on the other hand.....
Most wont touch you with a barge pole on an STi, over 30's mainly and dont get 3rd party, your throwing your money away, and if the worse comes to worse, just dont buy a scoob, if you think the insurance is expensive you should see the service and running costs

Good Luck.
From past experiences most companys won`t even bother if you`re under 30.

The amount some people are willing to spend on insurance just baffles me!
When I was climibing the car tree, I could have had much more pwerfull cars than I had but couldn't face parting with over £1000 of hard earned.
As a result my STi V Type R cost me £800 when I was 31 (and my Clio is much - much less ).
