Recently purchased a new Scoob (WRX PPP) from a Subaru dealer and on their advice took out the free 7 days driveaway insurance policy.
This policy would give me free 7 days insurance to enable the dealer to tax, register and fit the PPP, all i had to do was recieve a no-obligation insurance quote from Norich Union Direct.
So i gets their quote and to my surprise was very satisfactory especially with the declared PPP. So i decided to go with it, but when i gets the schedule in writing through the post from NUD there's no mention of the previously declared PPP. So i rings them up and i gets through to the usual Indian person who did'nt seem to know what he was talking about and when i mentioned PPP knew even less.
So to cut a long story short i ended up with A-Plan and the moral of the story is if you want to drive a Scoob go with a specialist insurance who know what their talking about, and if you think you can get a better deal scrutinise the small print or it might well end in tears if everything were to go **** up
