After much shopping around I finally got £516 fully comp. inc. 15,000 business miles from NU direct for a MY97 5dr. 34 year old in Peterborough, car garaged, no additional security apart from the standard immobiliser required, £250 excess accident and theft, £50 excess glass, no no-claims but they gave me a discount matching my 5 years accident free company car record. Premium includes legal cover and a rental car if yours is involved in an accident no matter who's fault.

Question

You did well.

I was told (by NU Direct) that they don't quote for Imprezas

Why is insurance such a lottery???

From: MY99->MY02->996->MY06STI in Herts / Beds / Bucks
Thumbs down

I just tried them online - 780 - 34, full nc, MY99 no mods, garage, 12000 miles.

This insurance thing is a real lottery - must be down to location.

Red face

The NFU were close behind if I had full no claims but wouldn't transfer the company no claims and wanted a tracker. Worst quote was from Direct Line - £1276 !!!
