Young driver and old driver
I am considering putting my son onto my insurence..
He is 20 and I'm 49..
Any companies that would accomodate that. Adrian flux who i am with wouldn't let him..

the first question you got to ask is do you really want a 20 year old on your insurance (im 24 and I ve been a named driver on a scoob for many years, but I paid more than half for car )
I have a few mates who have smashed up their parent's sports cars, if he's put some money into the car he may drive it slightly different
the preimium will be based on your son so be prepared to pay 1k + without mods
I was with tesco's but I don't think they will let any one on a scooby policy under 23 now

Yeh, I phoned round a few and they came away with "expect to pay thousands"
My son will be putting money towards it anyway, however he did manage to loose control of hi own car back in november which doesnt help getting a good quote..
Alot of the insurence companies say they wont touch anyone with a scoob or evo until there 23 or 25!

dont do it dad, it will only end in tears(sorry son) but he just wants to take his mates out in it, show them how he can get the rear end out, and clock up a load of speeding tickets. for the price of the insurance get him his own car to wreck.
back to the question....... sorry no..
