I gave them both a try. Greenlight came out ontop for me, whoever has the best deal at the end of the day.
The Greenlight policy sounded great, but without looking into the policy offering from A-Plan I don't have a comparison to offer.

I would definitely never use greenlight again. They have cost me a lot of money when i had to make a non-fault claim, and have messed me about ever since, (or at least their legal cover team have).
My own personal opinion, but go to A-plan.

I'll tell you on here m8. I've got nothing to hide cos its all genuine.
Got hit in the rear by another car. He admitted it at time, then I found out he was denying it afterwards. Greenlight sent out assessor. Assessor filled out form and never put points of impact, by which time 3 months have gone by, policy runs-out and they wouldn't re-insure me, or they would, but its more than doubled even though i had no claims bonus protection!
9 months down the line, the bodyshop has written a letter to say i was hit directly in centre rear, so has the independant assessor, but legal team dont want to progress the case because there were no independant witnesses. (the other guy is now claiming i swerved and stopped in front of him). Which I swear on my mothers life is NOT what happened.
I think I received poor service from greenlight throughout, although they did organise a courtesy car very quickly.
They seemed very helpful at first, until they found-out the other guy was denying it. Then all they seemed interested in doing was getting rid of a "high-risk Subaru" off there books!
Hope this helps.
