Red face Confused.com - be careful

Coming up for renewal time with my Impreza MY2000 euro import, tried Confused.Com, went through the usual stuff and came upon "Is this an import ? " so clicked on 'Euro Import - UK spec'. Submitted the search and got a quote of £605 from Admiral, result I thought (35 years old, na convictions, on driveway etc).
Called Admiral to confirm the quote and it appears the Import field is not picked up by their database, when I mentioned my car is an import the premium went upto £750 !. Moral is do not trust all the details that you feed into Confused.com, check them with the insurer before accepting the quote !

While I'm here, anyone got any good suggestions for euro friendly insurance companies ?

cheers all
