If anyone is interested, my broker has informed me Norwich Union have a special import policy (if this has been posted before I apologise).

Norwich Union are a bunch of thieving ^&*%^*&s!!! I was happily insured last year with them £1180, this year,with no accidents or problems, up it goes to £1500!!

32 years old, no accidents/convictions/alarmed/garaged etc.

Ended up taking it to lloyds, Via Zenith Insurance, down to £1018.

Which is better, but still a hell of a lot of money!

Definitely pays to shop around each year! Plus best quote was via a little local brokers - not the "We specialise in imports" bull you get in the mags!
