Any suggestions or details about insurance companies who will quote on Import STI's ?
My insurance has gone up by 30% this year, for no reason.
Any help or advice would be gratefully received,
Andy P

Andy I have just been getting quotes myself for a WRX STi VI type R.

Privilege 0870 243 5555 quoted me £1095.15 with £1000 excess

Direct Line 0845 246 8363 quoted me £975.45 with again £1000 excess
The directline quote does include 10% discount for having my house insurance with them as well though.

I am 29 with no convictions/endorsements and no accidents with full ncb.

Hope this helps

I am 23, 2 years no claims. I have a 95 WRX and Keith Micheals was the best at £1585. Barclays were not far behind at £1700. I have heard that Tesco is also competitive but give Keith Micheals a try.

Adrian Flux is 0800 692202, but try Tesco - apparently they are stumping some of the costs as they are new to the insurance game and want the business, although this may only be true for UK cars.

Hey Guys,

I tried Tesco, but they would only quote if I had a tracker fitted! (94 WRX)

I've been with Privellage for a year, and their renewal is £971. I'm 25, 6 years NCD but with an accident in 1998, so this seems pretty good.

Still looking though.....
