Insurance Subaru Impreza insurance can be expensive, as with any performance car insurance. But the cheapest car insurance isn't always the best. Share your quotes, and experiences.

Always of interest what deals people get with insurance - well chuffed with mine so I thought I'd share it.

MY99 turbo, Scoobysport downpipe and backbox, quickshift, GGR induction kit AND Link, unlimited mileage, no other driver, reasonable excesses, full comprehensive, NCP. All for £553!!! That's £150 less than last year with Norwich Union (who wouldn't reinsure me with the mods).

One SP30 and I'm an old(ish) giffer in his 40s living in a low risk area (East Yorks).

Where? Liverpool Victoria.

I so couldn't believe the quote (especially with the Link) so I wrote to them detailing the phone conversation with all the mods, just to be sure. Policy arrived. Well pleased.

No idea what they're like as insurers - hope I never have to find out.

There is a freephone number, but I've lost it. The contact number on my documents is: 01202 752007.

Question

The number that i used for LV was 0800-607607.

However, sadly they could not offer a "competitive quote" against Direct Line (best at that particular time) of GBP834 for a bog standard MY01, one (over 40) driver, decent post code.

Heck, insurance is a lottery!!!

Weird,

Called LV on their 01202(Bournemouth)number a couple of months back - Frizzels are the same company BTW. They wanted over a grand off me: 30, standard Turbo, safish area/occupation and all that, Full PNCB!

Went with Axa via A-plan - £750

My old insurers HHH wanted £900 for the exact same policy!!!
