Chuffed ain't the word!!! 
Bearing in mind the circumstances -
me & wifey (27 each)
3yrs NCB - 1 claim (last fortnight!!
2 x sp30s (6pts)
UK 5dr Turbo (MY95)
Not the best circumstances by any means!!!
Cateralls (AXA) - present insurers - £1140(ignored postcode details during the week!)
Liverpool Victoria - £740!!!!(also takes into account the car is at a cheaper postcode all week)

I did exactly the same as you, Cateralls told me AXA weren't interested anymore and that I should try AXA direct, which I did, but then Liverpool Victoria came in about £100 quid cheaper again.
