Just renewed insurance with Direct Line. I drive my99 turbo with Prodrive PP & handling packs. Car is company owned and the registered keeper. I use occasionally for business and have wife & two other named drivers on policy. Full no claims which is protected - Premium £970. AA insurance and Tesco came very close but NCB not protected. Direct Line Number in June EVO magazine. Keith Michaels wanted £1460.97 for Norwich Union renewal!!

I must live in a good area then. Renewal just came through at £771 fully comp with protected nc. MY99 with all mods declared (full SS etc). And I'm 31.

Greenlight - A company with car people answering the phone. So nice to deal with a human...Bit slow with docs though..

I don't think I live in a high risk area, it's just the business use seems to hike up the price plus the extra two named drivers as well as the missus. Greenlight would have been cheaper but wouldn't cover car unless I was registered keeper and not keen on business use angle.
Got my doc's thro' this morning, bit disappointed with excess - £375. Previously £250 with N Union. So I'll have to be extra careful where I leave the beast.

Thumbs up

I got a MY98 (with prodive front/rear spoiler , quickshift and lowered) with Direct Line as well. I paid £701 fully comp with NCB protected me and the wife. I got the wife to insure her car first then you get a bigger discount.
