can i ask how much the dealer charged to colour code your side skirts?

We recently got our MY00 and had the standard Subaru alloys - but in gold - fitted. In addition to this we had the skirts and the bummer "accents" painted in body colour.

So would I have to let my insurance company know about these?

Yes, don't give them the chance to weasel out of a claim. Explain that it was supplied by the dealer.

It was at the time of purchase.... I wouldn't imagine it would be to far removed from the "normal" price. It makes a striking difference to the car!
