I'm hopefully away to buy a 1992 WRX.
Only mod I know of is 17" wheels.
I'm 21. Had a 6 month ban for doing 108 in a 60, also got 4 points for doing 57 in a 30.
Have 0 NCB.
Best qoute I've had was £2500 fully
comp
I've tried a few other companies but most won't look at me, does anybody have any suggestions???? I really want this car!!!!

I know!!!
I'll have to pay it though...there's no way I'm driving a one litre mini for the next 5 years (even though there strangely fun things to drive )
I'll try giving him a phone and see what quote I get, I'm waiting to hear back from Adrian Flux as well.
Does anyone know if any companies give discount for being a member of the SIDC???
cheers
Gaz555

PS. Clarey, can you still send the pics if you don't mind, I still haven't definately made my mind up!!! cheers

Thumbs up

Gaz, I got a qoute from Direct line, I'm 23, 4 years NCB, UK spec turbo, £1100. So now I'm just hoping for a lottery win to buy the car!
A bit of advice for if you do get the WRX, try sticking to, or slightly under the speed limit!
Good luck Bob

23, 2 years NCB, MY95 WRX. The cheapest quote that I got was Keith Micheals, Barclays were not far behind, all the others quite a lot more. I am paying £1600.

Why don't you just take the first qoute, use the money you'll save on the phone bill to pay it and use the time saved to drive the thing! Bob

Well I probably would do that but paying £2500 insurance for a car I would only be driving 6 months out of the year (offshore the other 6 months) is a bit steep so I'd like to at least get it under 2K
