Got a great quote from these guys last week and called up to arrange it after I cancelled with Admiral and they now require a Tracker to be fitted to insure this car !! I 'd heard this from a friend, so when I got the quote 2 weeks ago this first thing I asked was do I need a Tracker and was told no !!

Be aware as it seems you might get a different story depending on who you talk to there.

Btw handy hint - use Barclays not Privilege. Barclays use Privilege anyway, but offer reduced excess (£100 flat rate) and were around 10% cheaper for me too!

When I called for quotes, everyone insisted on a tracking device.
Also, before you use their "recommended" installer find out the cost and see if you can get it elsewhere cheaper.
Not that it upset me.
And ask where they will put the transmitter.
Then make them put it somewhere else.

Although Barclays have a flat xs of £100 regardless of car, they do require a Tracker or RAC Trackstar or equivalent........just thought you'd like to know.

Just got a cracking quote from Direct Choice who a work collegue uses and they were the cheapest and didn't seem to have any negatives. Didn't insist on a tracker and the chap I spoke to knew his stuff . £994.82 which is a bit better than Admiral who were over £1700 !!
