W-reg Std UK with SS back box.
34 yr old, car parked on drive with Kent Post Code.
2 claims in 3 yrs (1 for £12K!!!!), 3 points, and partner (31) with 3 points.
Full protected no claims + new for old for car less than 1 yr old with £250xs.
NFU £713
Bennetts Elite £643

Just renewed with Bell direct:

My95 with full scoobysport system, prodrive suspension, uprated brakes, Recaro's etc
29yrs old with full no claims
Driveway parked with Maidstone postcode.
Last year £401 (Southampton postcode)
Renewed at £471 with protected NCB and £150 excess...

Not too bad me thinks.

NFU quoted me £1700 with 4 years no claims and 6 points with a Stocklport post code. Told me to phone back when I was 30. Got the insurance in the end for £794.

Just renewed with privilege £538.
Some of the other quotes I got:-
Barcalays £537
Churchill £614
NFU £637
NU Direct £1000 !!!!!!!!
Most were about £650 - £800
MY99 V-reg, SS backbox, ITG filter, fully body colour coded, cibies, full NCB protected, no points and garaged, Midlands postcode.

Hi jon,
when i had my insurance done (direct line, 4 accidents, 2 fault(yea right!!) 2 none fault) they didnt want a cat 1/2 alarm immob just a tracking system.
Anyway when u live in manchester u get as much as you can fitted to be on the safe side so both tracking system (not tracker thank god) and a clifford alarm/immob cat 1.
Means i can rest easy at night now!!
Oh and the quote for 31yr old full no claims with full prot excess at 350... 980quid and all because of an M in me postcode....

Renewal notice just through. MY99.

£468.16 Fully comp, protected bonus. Up about 10% from last year. Still not too bad. Mind you, being over 40 and in a low post code area helps.
