Pro Drive Springs - Need to declare as a mod?
Looking at a Scoob at the moment and it has Pro Drive springs - does this need to be declared as a 'mod' or just as an optional extra? Is it classed as a 'lower suspension' mod?
Don't want to not be covered, but on the flip side don't want to pay through the nose because the person on the end of the phone gets in a flap about modifications!

As with any modification they must be disclosed but don't expect the insurer to have a clue what they are. Norwich Union were insistent that Prodrive Springs must be a piston modification, maybe they are in India LOL.

TBO as the car your wishing to buy already has them on, you could probably get away with it by saying you were never made aware that the springs had been upgraded. Average Joe wouldn't know the difference so why should you. It's your risk, so its your call.If you do declare them some companies may charge a lot others won't so shop around.
