Insurance rant!
I think I have this rant every year!
I have an MY00+PPP which is probably worth about £7-8k if that! I am 34 with 9 years ncb with no accidents and no convictions. I am also married with a baby!
I have a renewal quote of over a grand in yet I can get insured on the following:
£26,000 Nissan 350Z - £700 fully comp with protected ncb
£25,000 Mazda RX8 - £550 fully comp with protected ncb
£30,000 WR1 - £850 fully comp with protected ncb
£45,000 M3 - £1100 fully comp with protected ncb
My car has more security than the Bank of England (tracker, etc) and is only worth £8k! How the hell can a WR1 be cheaper to insure than my MY00? The WR1 has a PPP as well! The f**king £45,000 fully stacked M3 is only £100 more to insure - WTF?!!!
