O.k the reason i wasnt gonna go with the Sti was for insurance reasons.
Now Elephant insurance is assuring me that the premium is the same for the WRX and the WRX STI. Which i am amazed at and they have given me the figures.
Now obveously it means saving ALOT more moeny to actually buy the STi over the WRX.
Is the STi really worth the extra £5k? Both running standard is there a heavy difference?

Several brokers have allegedly quoted people less on the STi than the WRX. Some even quoted cheaper still on the WR1
Yes, they are very different cars, whether the STi is worth the extra is down to personal preference. The WRX is a bit more smooth & subtle and much less delay as the turbo spools up etc, the STi handles and brakes better, 6 speed and much stronger gearbox, much quicker when the turbo comes in, easily mods to big power, and in the latest versions has the new geometry with much better steering feel, front end grip etc.

Hmmm.. i dont want subtle
i can imagine this really will boost the insurance
Just been speaking to TSL Tuning, there are no suspension kits available at the moment for that model, which means waiting for quite some time.
There Triple 3 pack looks extremely impressive though! I very interested in this!

Ah i am more excited about this car than anything i have done for the past couple years, i do aplogise for all the threads
