Has anyone else encountered this? Just got my renewal through & it went down from £950 to £680 & this time I even added no claims protection

I'm 28....29 in 6 days . 4yrs no claims, an SP50 (28 day ban & £300 fine) & an SP30 (3 points).

Everyone else i've come across says theirs has gone up & have needed to change their insurance company. I usually hate this time of year as it involves numerous phone calls, repeating the same stuff to different companies over & over again! Thankfully this year I don't need to bother

if you have a Liv/Vic policy you want to fight tooth and nail to keep it at renewel time.

Just had mine and it gone up 50 % since last year. And nothing has changed with my driver hisotry

I have heard stories about LV. People have called up & got a quote of £1500, then called up about 15 mins later, spoken to somebody else & got a quote of £900

Either they've changed their policy recently or you got someone on the end of the phone who hasn't got a clue! Not uncommon as i've found before when ringing around for quotes. You can quite often get people who can't even speak English properly!!

Who's that with...LV?

If anyone has a modified Jap Import then my girlfriend just got a really good quote with Highway . After phoning what must have been 30+ companies we eventually found one that would give a decent premium without lashing on the excess

my LV policy went down this year, but only by £20

Gave APlan a call, who seemed cool, got it for £70 less (679) and 350 excess, not too bad really.
