Think you might be barking up the wrong tree with them, anyway. Don't they specialise in young dudes trying to get insured on Maxed Novas etc.... You'd be beter off with someone like Liverpool and Victoria.

Best.

I got a quote off them about 4 months ago. Highest quote out of everyone which was strange as I'd had a quote off them previously for a 200SX Touring and they were cheapest by miles! Their main line of insurance is (or at least was) kit-cars and street-rod/custom cars.

Odd, they quoted me quite happily for a JDM STI a couple of months ago. It wasn't a particularly bad quote either - £1500. (I ended up paying £1200 with A-plan).

Liverpool victoria is the best IMHO for quotes on Subaru STi's with PPP.

No joke aside. Priviledge insurance have just thrashed the living poo out of any other quote I've ever had. Went from £750 3rd party, to £530 FULLY COMP!!!!!!!!, yet alone the £1300 0dd they wanted fully comp.

Andrian Flux are a bunch of jokers anyway. I had a Supercharged MX5 a bit ago insured with them. I then sold the supercharger and told Adrain Flux hoping for a decent refund, but instead they asked a higher premium despite the fact the cars BHP just dropped by 40%! And when I changed to my Impreza they refused to cover this (although I was under 25 at the time).

Flux are absolute rubbish.

Called them on both my imprezas and they didn't want to know. So much for being 'one of the best insurance companies around'

Steer well clear unless your happy getting turned over!

You must have got a new employee still in training then as L&V asked my age and refussed to quote (30 next August) even before we got to which model of Subaru I had

Made the mistake of calling Swinton...PMSL when the agent asked me what I thought of £1600. After I picked myself off the floor, I told him my renewal was half that and I was looking for a quote around £700 (MY02 WRX, NCB:6 protected, nil points, parked in street, Bus. class one full comp)

Elephant winning for me at the moment with £740
