Default Alright All - Can You Help ?!

Hi all, how's it goin.

Name's Grant, thought I'd sign up to the site as I've always loved Impreza's since they first came out and now I'm VERY close to finally getting one.
In a nutshell, here we go -

I work for a hire car company and we have two Impreza WRX's on the fleet. One of them is due to go back shortly and I've been offered it at a very reasonable price. It's a 2002 model, white, love it to bits. I could just about buy the car, but the problem (as I'm sure you've had similar posts before is insurance)

I'm currently 20 (21 in Dec) and drive a Punto Sport 1.2 03 reg, 3 years no claims, quite a good postcode. I've been searching high and low for someone to take me on insurance wise and nobody wants to know. £7000 odd the cheapest so far, it's a fvckin joke. The annoying thing is i've driven the car loads of times under company policy, they just assume you'll smash it up cos of your age.

If anyone can help, PLEASE DO ! Good companies, insurers, brokers, advice, whatever, just help me if you can ! Running out of options fast and don't really wanna let the scoobs slip away.

The frustratin thing as well is a mate of a mate who's 19 has a black WRX, has had a fault accident and he's insured ! Am in the process of finding out who this is with.

Cheers in advance, Grant.

Have a look back through some of the previous Insurance threads and you'll find several recent ones on much the same lines e.g.

And those are just from the last couple of months!
