Some insurance questions
Currenlty with the Integra Type R i pay £1200 full comp, with protected ncb will all the extras ( staff scheme ).
Just phoned them for a rough quote on the 200sx and they said they cant reduce the premium so they would just charge the same, I belive the 200sx is a fair bit cheaper to insure if Im not mistaken?
So what are the guidelines for cancelling the current policy with a company and moving on to another? I take it I would loose my 2months of this years no claims?
Details are:
Male, 23, 4 years ncb, protected, post code ll57 23j, no claims, one ts20 3points £60 fine.
I dont mind paying the same amount if thats the norm, but Im sure some other post's Ive seen figures of £700-800 for roughly the same details?
Also Tesco would add another £150-£200 on that total for mods!

I would get some solid quotes before cancelling your policy. The only NCD you will lose is the two months the policy has been running for.
Each individual insurance company has different cancellation charges, they should have sent you or advised you before taking the policy out, of these charges.
I think your best bet is to just change the car over and stick with them, I can't see you getting a substantially cheaper price to justify cancelling your policy.
