i've been trying to get quotes in a uk turbo through various internet sites, tesco, o&s etc. these quotes have come back totally ridiculous or no quote at all. is it better to ring them and speak to a real person rather than some computer?? also who is the best company to with for youngish drivers??

Greenlight wanted 1100 quid this year for my renewal (last year was 700 odd) plus put my excess up from 350 to 550!!

Asda Insurance wasn't bad at 800 odd quid (wife works for Asda so got a good discount) but Liverpool Victoria blew them all away coming in at 679!!!!

edit to say : By the way I'm 29 with 6 years NCD, UK 98 turbo with only backbox and downpipe mods.

 

Ring up tesco, they will insure you a good quote on a uk model
