Default 2 car insurance advice

I insure the Scoob fully comp with Spouse added. She has always been on my insurance so has not got any no claims bonus. Now she has a job which means she needs her own car, so question is do I insure it or does she start from the begining. Currently with N/U Direct

I was in the same boat, wife insured with Bell Direct, Full NCD, I had none. When we bought another car they were happy to offer me full NCD as could prove I'd been a named driver (and spouse) for a good few years.
Recently bought a third car, and was offered full NCD to match existing NCD again..this time through Zenith via A plan. Only problem was they wern't competitive on the porker insurance even with full NCD, so went elsewhere, and started from scratch on the least risky car, so between the 2 of us we now have full NCD each, and I've started a brand new 3rd policy.

imo, get a quote for a traders policy via catterall or tradex, and see how much it would be for yourself and wife down as spouse, get as many cars as you want then and be insured on anything (although you may get discounts if you want restrictions)

just my 2p, cos it's what i've done.

I'm about to do a similar thing with Bell Direct. So far they have been competitive for our choices of car.
