must have been asked 100's of times, but i can't see how they will just pay out for your mods with you just supplying photos (of which i gather you don't even need to send them)
i've just had a good qoute from them and while i'm tempted it all seems a bit 'grabbit and leggit' to me.
they must be the only insurance co. out there that doesn't want to know the ins and outs of a ducks **** when it comes to car mods.
it would be refreshing if they do pay out no questions asked, but is it really that easy?

I think Chins(Jonathon) had a claim via them a yr or so ago, had 2 cars nicked off the drive. 1 insured with LV & they paid out 10 days later.

I had a claim when some bast**d hit me on asda carpark and pi**ed off.
I went through a non recognised repairer so they sent an engineer out to inspect it after they received the quote.
The engineer had a quick look round, said what a nice car it was and gave the go ahead. Back on the road now, so they do pay out.

LV paid out when someone went into the back of me. I insisted they used Cheam Motors reccomended bodyshop, they didn't have a problem but sent an engineer to confirm the quote as acceptable.
The claim was 100% the other party's fault, LV waived me paying the XS then having to claim it back - they sorted that out direct with the other party's insurance Co. No loss of (unprotected) NCB either.
Overall no hastles whatsoever

thanks guys
had a quick phone around today and L+V are still the best quote(with lowest XS aswell) and to get positive feedback from genuine users (and scooby owners) of this company is a big thumbs up!
yet to get my renewal from adrian flux, but i don't think they'll be able to match this.
