£405.71 Insurance that about right?
Im a 21 yr old female and currently driving a 1ltr micra with 3 years no claims discount. My micra insurance was renewed in feb and i pay £300 or just a few pennys over. Im looking to buy a 1.6 gl wagon and have been quoted £405.71 for a full year from my insurers as if i was starting i new policy (did an online quote) so could be a little cheaper as im already 3 months into the policy ... Is this about right for a L reg 1.6 gl wagon? have managed to get it down from £600
BTW this is 3rd ptf
thanx

Sounds ok. £100 extra for a more powerful car. Make sure you try at least a dozon different companies though as there appears to be no such thing as a 'going rate' when it comes to insurance. I had a quote from a company for £780 over the phone. The same company had aso written to me with a quote of £980 based on info I gave when shopping around at renewal time last year. They must make up the figures as they go along.

Ok just done another quote for a 1.8 gl wagon and was only an extra £31.50 ontop of the 1.6 price
<starts looking around for a new car >
edited : i cant shop around this year as i already have a policy with driect line and would rather see the year out and get another Year NCD but will shop around next year when it comes to renewal time

Are you that desperate to get a scoob? Personally if you are entering at GL level i wouldnt bother.
At 21 and not made of money the GL is the perfect start to impreza ownership, not everyone can afford turbos.I could say entering at UK turbo level is a waste of time but i wont needless to say id never have one

cel... nothing like a bit of snobbery !!
i dont recall it stating only owners with wrx , sti , or p1 can join and post!!!
it aint what youve got under the hood that counts..... its whats on the bootlid and whats behind the wheel...
hows it go
lol
"gee whiz daddy with your turbo you got there a whole car length quicker than the car behind"
