Might have to sell the scoob!!!
I've just returned to the UK after 4 1/2 years working in Germany. The last 18 months I have been the owner of 2 MY03 wrx's. Last Jan (2003) I was unfortunate enough to be the victim of a freak of nature accident (my fault, but no one else involved) which resulted in scoob number 1 being written off. In my previous life I owned a Ford Focus and managed to pick up a motorway speeding fine (SP50) & the subsequent 4 points! I still managed to insure the 2nd scoob in Germany for a measly £1600, all things considered! Now I'm back in the most unfriendly driving environment in the galaxy I can't get a quote below £2600!
Has anyone been in a similiar situation or can anyone offer any advise? I'm very seriously close to tears!
