decent insurance quotes!!!
can anyone recommend any insurance companies? i'm trying to get quotes 4 an imported '97 wrx sti, and i'm getting them from $1200 upwards!! i'm 29, 9 years no claims etc etc etc!!!!

Hi to all Just a note to everyone have been around all over to get insurance last year and the only insurance that does the best is PRIVILEGE
Iam the big 40 in years which helps and I pay £500 full comp is this any help. They have a web site and can quote online

Thanks 4 ur help guys, i tried LV, but they only do 2 door imported sti's, but tesco's have given me a the best quote so far, £782 fully comp(w/o protected nc), but got a better 1 with 1st quote, £843 w protected n/c.

im 25 with 2 years ncb, trying to insure a 94 wrx import,
adrian flux quoted me £3200
LV said i had to be 30 yrs old as its a group 20 insurance
direct line £1700
and norwich union, weird -- they let you up you excess massivly to get the premium down, 3 examples from them are
£2150 - 450 excess
£1593 - £920 excess
£1381 - £1420 excess
i was a but scared at them excess figures at first, but it has practically been taked off the premium, so if you have on average less than 1 fault claim per year, your quids in.
if not youre screwed, its a gamble, lol
