Insurance Subaru Impreza insurance can be expensive, as with any performance car insurance. But the cheapest car insurance isn't always the best. Share your quotes, and experiences.

currently with norwich union direct. Rang a couple of days ago to get a quote on a subaru impreza turbo, because of my age (23) they told me because i have been with them for 3 years now ( 3 years no claims )they will consider insuring me on this car, but it has to be a uk spec 2.0 turbo only, non of this wrx b--#oks. why is this can anyone tell me ? Anyway in the end they came up with a quote for £1440. Also rang Tesco the same day and there quote was £1130. Are insurance companies funny about insuring imports or do they just stereo-type me as a young 23 year old hooligan thug.

Imports are usually more difficult/expensive to insure than the UK equivalents.
