Anyone who is considering finding a second car to avoid having to use their beast every day, will find it difficult to get a reasonable quote for insurance.
Most insurance companies will not recognise your no-claims and allow it to be used on a second vehicle.

e.g.
My Scubby insurance a little under £500 fully comp with plenty of extras.
My second every day car, Astra Cabriolet 2.0 inj (M) they wanted £700 tpft un-real

Found Quote Line Direct, they are prepaired to mirror your existing no-claims, having provided proof. And I have been quoted just over £200 tpft. This is done through a company called Highway, through quote line.

The Cab's brilliant, bit of a hair dressers car I know, but its doing over 35mpg & it keeps the beast for Sunday best.

Thought it may be of interest to you guy's
