I'd say Bell was the better option.

Try Tesco on line. Be careful, tracker required with proof of fitment. At a gues probably around £600 plus extras.

Excellent list simb, have tried a few but no-one can get close to L&V so I reckon I'll take the plunge with them, I like the "any mods allowed" bit (apart from engine rebore) and they seem to have my import on their list (WRX STI 2 door import)

'Myself, 30yrs, 11yrs NCB, no points/convictions/claims'

Makes a mockery out of insurance really. You have a clean record yet have to pay a grand plus 11 years NCB!!! I know people who pay the same on Scoobies with endorsememnts. I fink they're ripping u off Dan.

Pops- insurance guru of the highest order. Will fight for the common man's pay packet!

Question

I think its because its a TypeR, I used to have a modded import WRX and that was a few hundred pounds cheaper.
Still I really like the TypeR and I'll do anything to keep it, as for ripping me off, well I have tried stacks of companies and they all say the same, perhaps its a dodgy postcode or my job (computer engineer)?

I'm a similar age, with a very similar lightly modded Type R living very close to you and after loads of shopping around my best quote was with Osbournes and Sons in Sutton...£895 (but had to have ADR Pro Active Navtrak...about a grand!)

Type R's deffo seem to be the problem with the higher premium.
