just had my renewal through today 22b + 1983 mk1 golf gti cab £1068 for the 2,rang them up to do a deal,i tell them i have house insurance,and all the health insurance + more with them, and i want to add my mods as well, 22b is going from 276bhp to 340bhp and the torque is going from 265 to 350/60 ish, they rang me back with in the hour and they have charged me £900 all in for the 2 cars VERYYYY VERYYY HAPPY CHAPPY

I couldn't agree more. Just took out a policy with L&V (NU Direct wanted to renew for £1200). STi8, no points, 2 claims in the last year (1) tosser who ran a red and denied it, 2) hit a deer when it was a week and a half old), 35. £870, far lower than any other. No worries about my high mileage (could reach 30,000 this year the way it's going), no extra charge if I want to mod it (apart from changing the engine capacity!). Lovely! PPP here I come :-)

Just got a quote off them for the end of this month... they dont mind the mods at all, just take photos to prove it.
£637 fully comp... takes the sting off the fuel bills..
I`ve got a feeling I`m gonna be on first name terms with my local Optimax station workers....

Yep they just quoted £150 quid less than norwich union direct and their quote was good
