Apparantley will not insure unless you are the legal owner... Thats me scuppered then... L&V quote next. Had the renewal through from Tesco's not gone up or down really still aroun £1,000 but must be able to get it cheaper...

No insurer should insure you for a vehicle if you are not the legal owner, unless the vehicle is registered in the name of your spouse.

We're with Churchill (about £560), no mods full ncb, 36 years old .Car is registered in my name but insured in my wifes name (we insure a car each ). They didn't quibble .
