need to get a rac tracker for tesco insurance and i have had little luck find reviews online and the cost of them i was wondering if anyone could give me a breakdown on how much to have a tracker and installed the yearly cost of having them.

yeah 300 for life, but at the time i had just weighed out for a new cd player and my first installment for the insurance :P

 

Beware of the £300 for lifetime option as it is only if you keep the same vehicle.

 

when I got mine last year RAC were doing interest free credit for the tracker and lifetime subscription (over 3 years?) About £23 a month I think.

 

rac did mine at 23.50 a month for life (as long as you own the car)..i chose this because it can move between vehicles (albeit that you have to pay subscription) whereas tracker can't be moved and also the fact that you don't have to rely on a police car with tracker equipment being in the area, rac do there own tracking and inform the police where it is..also, they cover northern europe as well.

 

ive just been quoted £499 installation plus £120 per year to monitor this is for a rac trackstar. They telephone you when the car is stolen, then they inform the police
