My car is due to me MINE in a fww days (Impreza type R 1997) but i'm completly spent out and cannot afford a tracker.

I'd DESPERATELY appreciate anyone that could give me good info of insurnace compnaies that would insure mre for less than a grand, without a trcker.

Age 26, 9 yrs no claims bonus and no convictions etc.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP!!

Not aware of any.

Can't you get the tracker on finance or on a credit card? In the long run it will save you loads.

That's strange you got cover off tesco's with no tracker!!!. I phoned them yesterday as my renewal is in 3 weeks MY00 30yrs 8 yrs NCB and they said i have to get a tracker fitted for cover off them. No offence to you matt but my car is a u.k model and i'm older than you I hate fecking insurance companies, they make it up as they go along[img]images/smilies/mad.gif[/img]

You definately need a tracker with tescos, id call them again, but you will see that you should have one fitted for the policy to be valid.
Re the under 30 thing for lv, uk cars are 25+ (depending on area) JDM cars are 30+.

last time I checked AXA don't need a tracker (or CAT 1 for that matter)

If you're really stuck, I think you can get an RAC trackstar (or whatever it is) on 0% for 3 years. The total cost is about £900 - includes subscription for life etc.

Tesco = deffo tracker & cat1, rang them this week, aged 37 with tracker & cat1 £1100, something isnt right with your quote, unless you live on the orkneys

yup, i've got to have a tracker fitted, but i can get a phantom tracker fitted doe £340 so thats ok ;0)

still cheap insurance!
