Anyone claimed thru Liverpool & Victoria
#1
Has anybody with a moddified scooby had a claim accepted thru Liverpool & Victoria since their change of policy regarding mods & points. Reason I ask is they are quoting me the std UK Impreza turbo price on a car that is modded up to 355 bhp :O (said they are not interested in the mods or my speeding points) it just sound too good to be true.
Thanks, Mike.
Thanks, Mike.

They are their own insurance co in the same way that for example Direct Line are. Liverpool Victoria is the trading name for the insurance part(and possible other parts) of Frizzel, a massive financial group who have been on the go since the turn of the century.........

Peace of mind indeed.
Even though they are cheap and i'm covered for mods...i did wonder what would happen if (perish the thought) i had to claim.
they advised me to takes pics of the car in case...(i wonder if i should mention that the entire car is made out of titanium and worth loads!)

Yep, just had my car repaired for me by L&V.

Was a bit worried about the decat for a while, but the assessor came out to the repair centre and told them to go ahead with the repairs.

I'm claiming through them at the moment. IMHO they are trying it on.
MY03 PPP bought 2 weeks ago for £20k. LV are offering £18910. My car was a straight purchase, not trade in etc. I have the dealer invoice and PPP certificate of fitment. I dont need the hastle of arguing the case. Tescos have been brilliant on my other car that went missing in action at the same time.

I would double ccheck the speeding ones, they do ask (or should do) for any convictions in the last 5 years, and these appear on your policy
I know cos the date one on one mine they had put down wrong, they have now changed it, along with adding my additional mods, and my new revised policy turned up this morning

I've just re-newed my insurance with Frizzell/Liverpool & Victoria - £432 for my 97 Scooby Turbo. That's for aged 35, full no claims. They do register any speeding points etc on the policy, but it does not affect the actual premium....bargain!B7BE6
