I currently have a Saab 900se turbo and am looking to get a WRX STI but my current insurers won't quote me on it (luckily this policy expires in August). Does anyone know if I will be covered to drive the WRX on the 'other car' cover that my insurers provide as part of the Saab policy???

I'm thinking that if your policy states you can drive any other car you could jump striaght into a F40 or F50!?!???

The driving other cars benefit on your policy is there to be used in event of an emergency, it only covers you for other peoples damage. The said vehicle must not be owned by you but someone else, that person must also have insurance on that vehicle for you to drive it under your driving other cars.

This was the case on my old policies but last 2 (Admiral & L&V) no longer need it to be otherwise insured.

However it is only insured when you are driving it, if it is parked on a street it needs insurance as it does to get Tax.

Cheers
