depends who you are with and if you have any other mods already.

I thought insurance only increased if the rolling diameter changed. i.e. 185/65/15 is same rolling diameter as 205/40/17 so its only a cosmetic mod, hence no increase.

When I had a Focus, I went from standard steel wheels to 18inch alloys. They didn't ask the size or make, they just listed them as non-standard alloys.
The premium increase was about £30.00 if I remember.
